Your Spellbook, in English

English Spell Names

• The Magic window, spell tooltips, and spell lists now display names in English across every class — Clear Mind, Resist Magic, Fire Shield, Lightning Storm, Vampiric Touch, and hundreds more. No more squinting at Korean to find your spells.

Welcome Message

• A "Welcome to the Crucible" notice now greets you at the server-select screen.

Fixed

• Character deletion. Deleting a character in-game was silently failing — the confirmation countdown would finish and the character stayed put. It now deletes correctly.

The World is Back

Full Classic World Restore

• Every map in the game has been rebuilt from the ground up using authentic L1J-EN data. Classic mob rosters, classic spawn densities, classic drop tables — the entire overworld and all dungeons are running on original 3.63 content. The remaster had changed or replaced huge portions of the world with its own zones, mob types, and layouts. All of that has been reverted. What you're walking through now is the classic world rendered in HD.

Tower of Insolence — All 100 Floors

• The full Tower of Insolence is open. All 100 floors are accessible with working staircases and classic monster spawns on every floor. The remaster only had a fraction of ToI functional — the missing floors have been rebuilt with classic L1J-EN tiles and fully populated. The remaster-era "domination crack" rift portals that cluttered floors 1–10 have been removed.

HD Tile Mapping

• The classic map layouts have been matched and rebuilt using remaster tiles throughout. You get the visual quality of the HD client on classic L1J-EN geography.

Boss System

• 75 classic bosses are now running on authentic respawn cycles — random windows within set periods, just like the original. Ant Queen, Death Knight, Necromancer, Ifrit, Giant Drake, Doppelganger, Caspa, Baphomet, Phoenix and more are all in rotation. Non-classic remaster bosses have been removed.

Ant Caves

• The sand holes on the Aden mainland now work correctly and drop you into Ant Cave 1F. Every dungeon entrance in the game has been audited and confirmed functional.

Visual

• Several missing mob sprites have been identified and an initial pass has been done restoring proper appearances to mobs that were showing as red Xs. More to come as we continue working through the list.

NPC Cleanup

• Removed a large batch of remaster-exclusive NPCs that had no place in the classic world — Messengers and Goddesses of Salvation, HD revival merchants, remaster craftsmen, coin exchange vendors, gear exchange stone statues, and the rift wizard teleporter. More passes coming as we continue the audit.

Combat Reworked to Classic

Combat

• Critical hits — the classic d20 crit is back for all original weapons (crits are the classic dice roll again, not a stat-scaled %). Custom/special gear keeps its own crit system.
• Weapon & arrow damage restored to authentic classic values. Bows now work the classic way — your arrows carry the damage and scale as you upgrade ammo. The full arrow ladder (basic → Silver → Mithril → Oriharukon) is restored, so upgrading arrows matters again.
• Magic Resistance (MR) restored to classic behavior — MR properly mitigates magic, and caster magic-hit penetrates it.

Archery & Shops

• Silver and Mithril arrows are now stocked at every arrow/potion vendor.
• Healing-potion shops cleaned up — consistent red/orange/clear lines (normal, condensed, ancient) across town.

Modern Systems Removed for the Classic Feel

• Turned off: the weapon/armor elemental "attribute" enchant system (we kept the classic elf element → spell choice), AI "Mirror War" bots, the ARCA/Tam idle-reward system, "Hot Time" auto-gifts, free daily protection buffs, and coupon-for-enchanted-gear.
• Alchemy, Item Potential, Smelting, daily Attendance, and Collections are temporarily off while we decide whether to keep tuned-down classic versions — feedback welcome.

Crafting

• Native crafting is now 100% success and always produces +0 items — craft your base gear, then enchant it yourself, the classic way.

Rates & Economy

• XP ×5 · Drops ×5 · Adena ×5 · Karma ×1.
• Slashed the massive adena-faucet event rewards to protect the economy.

Clans

• Blood pledge creation level lowered 30 → 5; member cap set to 20.

Fixes & QoL

• Invisible-mob bug fixed — mobs now auto-refresh on screen.
• Polymorph NPC offers the full classic form list.
• Identify-scroll popup text fixed.
• Mob stats/sprites aligned to classic; spawn fixes (off-screen spawns, Treasure Island rabbit overspawn).
• Castle siege schedule set.
